Since the early years of the Independence of Bangladesh, Bangladesh and Switzerland have been sharing a sound bilateral relationship that used to be focused primarily on humanitarian aid and later expanded to include a broad set of development cooperation activities. At this stage, with a prospect of further investment in the future, trade volume between Switzerland and Bangladesh has more than tripled since 2010. In another scenario, the major portion of Swiss investments in Bangladesh are concentrated in the following sectors: chemicals, pharmaceuticals, construction, technical services and fast-moving consumer goods. Most of the prominent Swiss multinational companies are operating their business in Bangladesh and continuously expanding their portfolio. We aim to facilitate and encourage the interest of the investors to explore the ocean of opportunities in the coming days in Bangladesh. This roadshow aims to conduct a summit in participation with the potential investors of the region. The investor summit will be attended by high-level delegates from Bangladesh and Switzerland, along with business conglomerates and investors. NRBs, foreign investor and institutional investors in Switzerland will join the summit.
